National University Honours 1st Year Admission Circular 2022 জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে অনার্স ১ম বর্ষে ভর্তি বিজ্ঞপ্তি National University publishes admission notice for the first year of honours. The National University has released a notification for the admission of students in the 1-year undergraduate (honours) class for the academic year 2021-22. The online admission process will start from 4 pm on May 22 and will continue till 12 pm on May 9

.Date of submission of application fee to any gold bank branch part of national university: For this purpose, the college will have to download the pay slip by clicking on the Application Payment Info (Honours) option through login. Which is between 13/06/2022 and 20/06/2022, the receipt has to be collected by depositing the prescribed fee at the nearest Sonali Bank branch.

General eligibility of the application:

a) Students with a minimum GPA of 3.5 in SSC/equivalent examination of 2018/2019 and minimum GPA 3.0 with 4th subject in HSC/equivalent examination of 2020/2021 from any education board/open university humanities branch recognised in Bangladesh can apply.

(b) Students with a minimum GPA of 3.5 in SSC/equivalent examination of 2018/2019 and minimum GPA of 3.5 with 4th subject in HSC/equivalent examination of 2020/2021 from any education board/open university recognised in Bangladesh can apply.

c) Only HSC from Bangladesh Board of Technical Education (Vocational) H.S.C. Students who have passed the (Business Management)/Diploma-in-Commerce examination can apply subject to the fulfillment of clause b of article-1.

(d) Applicants shall be prescribed eligible subjects eligible for admission in 1st year undergraduate (honours) class from the subjects studied in higher secondary and equivalent examination and must have a minimum grade point of 3.0 in the subject studied (200 marks).

e) Students who have passed at least four subjects including ‘B’ grade in three subjects in the O-level examination of 2018/2019 and have passed at least two subjects including ‘B’ grade in one subject in the A-level examination of 2020/2021 can apply subject to fulfillment of other conditions in this admission process. These students will send the application form directly/e-mail to the Dean, School of Undergraduate Education, National University within the stipulated time instead of applying online. In the application form written on the white paper, the name of the applicant, the name of the parents, the subject of admission, the name of the institution and the registered personal mobile number should be mentioned.

f) No student currently studying in a bachelor’s (honours)/bachelor (honours) professional/graduate (pass) regular/graduate (pass) in the academic year 2020-2021 under the National University will be eligible to take admission in the 1st year bachelor’s (honours) class in the academic year 2021-2022. However, all these students will be able to get admission in the 1st year bachelor’s (honours) class in the academic year 2021-2022 by cancelling the admission of the academic year 2020-2021.

g) If a student is admitted to a Bachelor (Honours)/ Graduate (Honours) Professional/Graduate (Graduation) Professional/Graduate (Pass) regular/private course in the same academic year or in two different academic years, the admission application will be deemed to be rejected.

Method of preparing the merit list and distribution of subjects:

a) Applicants will be allotted subjects in the first year undergraduate (honours) class by preparing a subject-wise merit list for each college separately on the basis of GPA obtained in SSC and HSC examinations.

(b) If the merit of two or more applicants in the same subject is the same in the same institution/college, then in a phased manner all these applicants_____

40% and 60% of GPA obtained in SSC and HSC exams with 4th subject respectively
If required, the merit order will be drawn with 40% and 60% of the total marks obtained in SSC and HSC examinations including 4th subject respectively.
After this, if the merit of two or more applicants is the same, then the person whose age is less will be given priority and the merit order will be formulated.
(c) The admission process will be completed in a phased manner through the 1st merit list, 2nd merit list subject to vacant seats, merit list of special quota and merit list of 1st and 2nd release slips. Note that there will be no opportunity to apply for the 3rd release slip in this admission process.

d) The concerned college can view the subject-wise merit list using user ID, password and OTP. Applicants can also know the result of the merit list through the admission related website (www.nu.ac.bd/admissions) and SMS (nu<space>athn<space>roll no.) and send it to 16222) or from the college.
